I specialize in non-narcotic practices in healing pain such as headaches, chronic pain, joint pain, and back pain.  My goal is to treat and relieve your pain permanently instead of using pharmaceuticals for temporary relief.

Acupuncture is also great at treating conditions including (but not limited to!) digestive issues, stress, insomnia, depression, anxiety, and poor immune systems.

Herbal Medicine

Herbs were commonly used before Western pharmaceuticals were introduced, and have been used effectively in China for over 2,000 years.  Treating and preventing medical conditions with herbs is naturally safe, and a way to avoid the many side-effects of Western drugs.

I use Chinese herbs along with select Western and Ayurvedic herbs for the best treatment of your condition.

This form of therapy, practiced in cultures around the world, uses suction to perform a "reverse massage", pulling muscle and tissues away from the bone, rather than pushing in.  Benefits include reduced inflammation, improved circulation, and pain relief.  It's also used to benefit the immune system in conditions such as colds, flus, and fevers.

Holistic Practice Philosophy

Traditional Chinese Medicine restores health through a different approach- what we call "Differential Diagnosis".  This means your TCM physician will discuss symptoms across the entire body to personalize the best treatment plan for you.  The goal is to identify the root cause of a condition, rather than a simplistic Western diagnosis such as "back pain" or "stress".  Additionally, I use characteristics of the tongue and pulse to confirm my diagnosis, a technique which has been refined over thousands of years of use in China.

For the most complete recovery, a variety of therapies are utilized, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and medical qi gong/reiki.  Meditation, bodywork, yoga, nutrition, and qi gong may all help support the treatment regimen.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
